To run this software successfully on your computer, you will need the latest version of the .NET framework. You can get it here:

Once you have the .NET framework installed, run the installer program titled  TextEffectsInstaller.msi and follow the instructions.
 
Upon launching the software, you will be prompted to enter your license key. You can find your key in your welcome email. Paste it in and you're good to go.
 
 

 

 
Unzip the folder called "Fonts" and open it. You will see two folders: "Fonts in Original Folders" and "Fonts Unzipped". The first one contains the original folders that the fonts came in along with information about their creators, etc. The second one contains only the font files. This is the one you will use for installation.

Remember the location of the "Fonts Unzipped" folder on your computer.

Then, choose the link below that corresponds to your operating system and follow the installation instructions:

(1) This is the font window where you can select your font face
 
(2) This is the font size window where you can select your font size. Please note that the size of the font in the text display window (5) is the size it will be saved at.
 
(3) This is the text effect selection window. Choose the style that you would like to apply to your text.
 
(4) This is the text entry window. Type your text in here. You can create multiple lines of text by pressing enter where you want a new line to begin.
 
(5) This is the text display window. This is what your text will look like once it is saved.
 
(6) Click this "Enable Reflection" box to enable a reflection of your text.
 
(7) Use this Reflectivity slider to modify the transparency of your reflection.
 
(8) Use this Attenuation slider to modify the length of your reflection.
 
(9) To save your text as a .jpg file, click on this button and navigate to where you would like to save your text. Type a name for your file and click "save".
 
(10) To save your text as a .png file with transparent background, click on this button and navigate to where you would like to save your text. Type a name for your file and click "save".

(1) Click this "Load background image" button to load your background image. For example, a header, footer or banner image.
 
(2) Once you like the way your text looks, click this "Add to image" button to add it to the background image below. The text will appear on the image just like the "TEXT EFFECTS" text appears in the screenshot above. You can drag the text to the appropriate location using your mouse. You can add as many text objects as you like. IMPORTANT: When positioning text, make sure to keep your text within the edges of your background image.
 
(3) Click this "Delete all images" button if you would like to clean the slate and wipe out all the text you've added to your background image.
 
(4) To delete a single text object, make sure this "Delete clicked text" box is checked. Then click on the text you would like to remove below.
 
(5) This is your image preview window. Here you can see what your finished image will look like. You can also move text around with your mouse in this window.
 
(6) This is a zoom slider. Slide it to zoom in and out of your image. This is helpful way to see that all your text is positioned correctly. This will not change the size of your image, just the view.
 
(7) To save your text as a .jpg file, click on this button and navigate to where you would like to save your text. Type a name for your file and click "save".
 
(8) To save your text as a .png file, click on this button and navigate to where you would like to save your text. Type a name for your file and click "save".
 
 
 
 
Upgrading is easy. Just uninstall your existing version and then install the new version. You should not need your license key for updates if installing on the same computer.
